I am bringing INSANITY to Andover for a FREE launch on Tuesday 8th July 2014.

This is a full on plyometric power workout, suitable for all levels of fitness, as modifications are given out on all exercises. This is interval training, so prepare to work yourself to the max!

Do I need to do Insanity everyday?

The launch of Insanity at Wellington Academy in Ludgershall, Tidworth went really well last Wednesday, 23 hard working participants turned up and pushed themselves to the max!

I have been asked the same question by a few people, which is, ‘do I have to do Insanity everyday to get the benefits?’

The answer is, ‘no’. I think this question has come about, as most people have seen the infomercials, or even done the 60 day challenge for themselves at home already. The Insanity LIVE classes are very similar to the main bulk of the home workouts, lead by Shaun T. But what you will find with the DVD challenge, is that not everyday is high intensity interval training, which is the main thing insanity is known for. One day a week is rest, one day recovery, and one day cardio and abs. This leaves a maximum of 4 days a week of intense interval training.

Don’t get me wrong, the more exercise you do, will mean you get better and faster results, but it is also good for your body to have different forms of exercise. The home DVD challenge covers a few different areas of exercise, which is great for those who don’t do anything else. Plus adding in the fact it is 6 days a week to help you get into a routine of it, keep you focused, and also making it intense. As the Insanity challenge markets itself for being the most extreme home work out ever.

I personally recommend doing Insanity twice a week, and also mix in a rest day, flexibility training, and some other form of exercise. If you are already doing many other forms of exercise then once a week would be enough for you. Keep fit should be fun, so keeping things varied helps the mind focus better, thus meaning you continue on for longer, and getting the maximum results you can.
