Terms and Conditions – Please Read before booking:

Refund Policy

If you choose to cancel your course, taster, pay as you go class, party, workshop or private class 7 days before the start date or more we will refund the full amount minus the booking fee of £10.

If you cancel with less than 7 days before the start of your course, you will only get 50% of the full amount back.

If you cancel within 24 hours, you will not receive any refund.

If you transfer your course, taster, party or private class to a different date you will loose the right to a refund and we will only transfer you once, you must give 24 hours notice to be able to do this.

Lateness:

Classes run from the specified time, to the specified finish time, at each location of Purity.

The classes are carefully structured to ensure time for warm-up and cool down.

If you are late for a class, to reduce disruption to the other students already present, you will be denied entry and asked to leave.

Important instructions relating to the class safety may have been presented at the beginning of the class, and similarly you would have missed the important warm-up.

If denied entry, you will forfeit any payment made for that class as your instructors do not have time to repeat instructions missed by your absence.

Changes

Due to circumstances beyond our control we reserve the right to change the start time, venue, date or teacher of your course, taster or party. You will be notified if this happens and a pro-rata refund will be given if we cannot meet your needs.

Although we never book more than two people to a pole in all our regular classes, there may be rare occasions beyond our control, where for safety reasons, a faulty pole may reduce the number of poles available for that class. We therefore reserve the right to alter people per pole ratios for safety reasons.

Health & Safety

All students are required to fill out a risk disclaimer and health questionnaire before the session, and must keep the teacher informed of any later changes at all times. Please note if you lie on these forms it will invalidate your insurance.

If you are unsure if you are fully fit and able to do a session please consult your GP first.

Pole Dancing is a dangerous activity, with a risk of serious injury. We take steps to help minimise some of these risks, however, by participating in any of our classes or events, you must be aware of these risks.

During the session you must follow the teachers’ instruction throughout the whole session, failure to do so you may be asked to leave the course, taster or party with no refund.

Failure to follow the teacher’s instructions is unacceptable, and may also risk the safety of yourself and the other students and teacher.

Bruising and pole burns are a common occurrence.

Class Style (Classes, not Pole Jams)

All Purity classes they are lessons rather than pole jams, which means you must follow the teachers instruction rather than swapping moves with each other.

We believe this is the safest way to run classes, especially as all the teachers have been trained on how to teach moves safely and can work out if you are ready for certain moves.

If you see someone doing a new move and would like to give it a go then by all means ask your teacher, they will be happy to teach it to you, or give you advice on what moves will get you ready for it.

Additional Notes

If anyone in the class is not conclusive to promoting a fun and friendly atmosphere we reserve the right to cancel any remaining classes and provide a pro-rata refund.

Please note at Purity that we have a zero tolerance on any type of bullying; homophobic, racial or hate does not have a place at Purity.

If our teachers are insulted, attacked verbally or physically or made to feel to feel unsafe students will be ejected from the class with no refund and banned from returning to any Purity classes or events. Please note that undermining the teacher is a major breech of our terms and you’ll be asked to leave with no refund and be banned from returning to any Purity classes or events.

Whilst pole dancing is heavily dominated by woman, we welcome men as well. We are LGBT friendly. If you would like to be addressed in a certain way, then please make that clear to your teacher. Your acceptance and comfort is paramount.

Please note that acts of bullying towards your own self will not be acceptable. Putting yourself down is classed as bullying in the eyes of Purity.
